jumping!!!

I've just returned from my first jumping lesson in 17+ years!! Nothing fancy, but I finished the lesson jumping a grid of three jumps around 2'6" (2 cross poles and an upright). I also finished beetroot red, sweating buckets and generally in worse shape than the pony - who was excellent despite my collapsed attempts at a jumping position. Future lessons may well work on legs/arms/head all in the right place, confidence, impulsion - pretty much everything in fact, but for now I'm just really chuffed I got over jumps with pony attached.
Sorry, completely self-indulgent post but I thought I'd share my general excitement.

Well done!! I jump occasionally but am such a wimp I can't think of a 2ft 6 grid without feeling a bit sick. So thats fab going after 17yrs!!
