If you couldn't tell I have very little experience jumping. I used to get put on the riding school ponies by my boss when they were being naughty to do some schooling or jumping if we thought they were bored. I've jumped up to 90 on one of the ponies but since had a bad fall and it now terrifies me even though i (secretly) love it!
The riding school ponies were rarely jumped so when I jumped them they were either anxious or fresh and we had very little breaks, I'm feeling very lucky to have a cob who Comes back to me and actually needs a bit more go than woah, it's really helped my confidence!
Now I'm on my own I like to do some jumping to stop the coblet getting bored!
How many times a week is it okay to jump? (I use jump very loosely, our "jumps" are never any more than 30cm! To the point it's 50/50 if he will jump it or step over it)
Any tips for building confidence jumping? I know in my head I can do it as I have before but my nerves stop me!
