Ought to have done, BE stipulate that you need to have done one clear xc to be allowed to do a CCI*, and you need to have done a CCI* to be qualified for a championship *.... I know rules can be bent and so on but I would be surprised.

Strongest team they've had in years, we actually have at least two riders capable of an individual medal.

She's got the XC clear at Intermediate, but not on that horse that she has been selected on ! But then she has two good results on CCI*'s, but still hasnt got that XC clear at Int with him. Oh well, I suppose that CCI*'s is kind of equivalent to an easy intermediate...I guess that I am just surprised that they have selected such a new combination over combinations that have been doing well for many years...

Lots of congratulations to any juniors that produced their own horses to this level. I think they should get more recognition. It's much more of an achievement rather than simply having rich parents who can buy you a 'made' horse. Nowadays many more people are simply 'buying' their way into the Pony and Junior Teams.
