Just a Heads Up notification really for anyone in the East Devon area who intends to be out hacking on the roads this Sunday!
This cycle ride happened last year and I was so concerned about the volume of cyclists on the roads around my local area, which we hadn't known about in advance, that I asked the organisers to let me know for this year's event, and to be fair to them, they have done so.
There are three different routes, all of them are for different levels, and some share the same routes, however some do not so anyone concerned should check each route to see if it affects their local area.
The cycle ride is in aid of Prostate Cancer.
I have put notices on local FB pages; but please if anyone is in the area affected - or knows someone that rides out in that area - please pass this info on to them. There were LOADS of cyclists on the roads at last year's events and personally I will be keeping either off the road completely, or only riding on roads where the event is not scheduled to be held on.
