I have had a lovely couple of weeks with my two girls recently so thought i'd share a few photos and vids of them/us.
Suzy has been going from strength to strength with her recall - we still have shaky days where there is far more interesting things to look at than me, but the improvement has been dramatic! I've been taking them out to local 'fun' dog shows (we've done 3 in the past 3 weeks), Suzy has been brilliant - in fact she won 'Best Rescue' in a charity dog show a couple of weeks ago! she's calmer around other dogs, and people and seems to be completely at ease now rather than looking worried all the time at this sort of thing.
Millie, well she's just been Millie! my little pocket rocket! She always gets a lot of attention out and about, I think its because she's so small, but she loves the attention!
We started classes again on Sunday - back to my old dog club, took both dogs along, they both had a go at flyball (Millie's favourite!) and even Suzy got the hang of it, which suprised me as she's never shown much interest in tennis balls before. Then onto some agility - Suzy stayed on lead (she took to doing laps of the arenas - which was off putting for the other class, although taken in good spirits!), Millie was a superstar and hasnt forgotten anything - and amazed me by going straight through a collapsable tunnel without any issues.
I was most proud when at the end of the classes, all of the dogs went for an offlead walk - I had planned to keep suzy on lead, due to not really knowing how she would react, but the trainer said she'd been observing her body language and couldnt see an issue - well, she was right, Suzy ran around with all the others (well, quite a bit infront of them due to being the only speedy skinny dog there) and was superbly well behaved!
All in all, very happy with my girls, here are a couple of photos and vids of them!:
Suzy chasing the lure

Millie's first agility in 5 months (at a fun dog show on Saturday) - she went to see the trainer at the beginning - its our trainer! - beware my lovely brother filmed this and does swear part the way through - delightful!

Sleepy after yesterday's dog class
and just a really cute video of the two of them!
