Im 15, so am classed as a junior, but I have long boots, as im soon going to classed as a senior..
So, if i want to enter a class at a local(ish) show, Titled, 'Junior Equitation (11-16 years)', will I be ok to wear my long boots, or will people think im just a senior rosette grabbing? ;)

(I am pretty tall and ride a 16hh, hence why people may think im a senior :O)
Thankyou :D

Phew! Thankyou, just didnt want to be placed lower, because they think im cheating, or people being annoyed etc :)
I also dont think it would look too good if the judge saw me in my very unflttering joddy boots for the equitation, and then my loverly long boots in the ridden showing ;)
Thankyou x

I wore my long boots for equitation when I was 14/15 - though did end up entering the senior class!? Still came 2nd though (probably would have placed lower against other juniors :o) :D
Good luck!

You can wear your long boots - its equitation not a showing class, Also if you were riding in a show class the fact that you are on a horse means that you would wear long boots.

ie if you have a hunter you would not ride in jod boots just because of your age.

Good luck
