I have a friend who owns a beautiful Cob, who I've known since a foal. She's looking to put him on loan for a while, and i'm so tempted, but know I won't be able to cope with two over the next winter.
I'm sooooo tempted, it's really hard, heart tells me to help, brain says "NO!"..
I know realistically I won't do it, I love being able to spoil my boy, having another will mean he gets less of everything, attention, time, etc.. I've had two before, and my reasons for selling was just this.
Anyone else been put in a position where they've been offered a horse/pony that they've fell in love with, and have been seriously tempted? In my eyes I'm not prepared to say yes, then turn round at a later date and say I can't do this anymore.. Who has let the heart rule only to know deep down it's not going to work out long term?
