Just after some opinions!!

Hi, I havnt posted here in a while, mainly just been reading!!

I am planning on doing some mre comps this yr with out first being dressage in March.

Atm my horses mane looks like this -

I plan to hog him at the weekend, and just wondered if you think he suits it...
He has about 4inches of mane missing and some of what is left is thick and will look rediculous plaited and he doesnt like it being pulled so cant thin it!!

I either hog it and have him smart for the shows, or leave it and have him look a mess with gappy mane or very badly plaited....

I would hog! Unless a cob has serious mane and feathering, I think they look better trimmed and hogged
