LONG story but in a nutshell....

I've found myself a little star and bought him on the spot. lol, I know, I'm SO naughty... completely insane maybe...

He's TOTALLY lazy, he's been kept basically as a pet and been allowed to do as he likes for the last 18 months... but I HAD to have him.

Took v experienced level headed friend to keep me on the straight and narrow- and she told me to buy him before I even braved telling her I wanted him regardless.

PMSL... really excited.... just had call from owner (in tears), he's getting delivered on Saturday morning

Yes, Fal is sold!

New horse is....

Chestnut again
10 yo
unknown breeding (tb x id type)
LAZY- five minutes riding a horse like him not owned by you without daring to do anything more than gently wave whip in general bottom direction- HARD WORK
Bombproof
Tad tubby
Plain lol
Fun...

Just needs livening up and fittening up.

Even if he doesn't end up as your long term horse, he sounds a good one to get your confidence and have loads of fun on.
I am a great believer in if it feels totally right, buy it, so well done for going with your instincts.
The very best of luck with him.

Nooo, he really doesn't.

The fact that you fell in love with him straight away means he must be special, even if he does need a bit of attention!

Anyway NAME NAME NAME???

I KNOW!!!!!

After JF I vowed never to buy anything that didn't pass a 5 stage with flying colours and I REALLY meant it. God, I've had more horses vetted in the last year than most I'm sure.

Turned down that mare I was so excited about based on vetting.

BUT- this chap is SPECIAL. I really can't tell you why because really he is plain as plain can be... lol... but at least I wasn't the only one as strict friend was even worse than me!
