Just back from vets

With one of my cats.

This morning Esther was very lethargic and not her normal self. Breathing at 40 respiration a minute, had checked several times. just seemed very flat.

took her to the vets and she has a slightly raised temperature and a distended belly. vet seems to think eaten too much prey. Gave an anti inflammatory jab.

She will be kept in dog crate for next 24 hours and back to the vet if things change for the worse.

Hopefully all will be well.

Getting more worried now as not even peed since 8'oclock this am. Maybe normal, don't think so.

She is very lethargic, in a cool kitchen so heat shouldn't be a problem.

I would prefer her to yowl to come out of crate.

Will give her to 5 pm and call vet.

A new day has seen Esther completely back to normal. Obviously had over eaten or wouldn't have recovered as quickly. She has her normal svelte figure back. So relieved.

Well that is good news - perhaps she swallowed a bunny (whole?)!

Mine get like this when they eat too many bunny brains glad she is back to normal

Phew! So pleased all is back to normal! Yep - I'll bet it was a bunny-bump too ...
