meet Toby, or Hose Equerry to give him his posh name!

this is my team mascot......Toby knows he is the most important member of the team and demands to be treated like a 17hh stallion!

he was actually bought as a travelling companion to a previous horse that would not travel alone, and it became cheaper to buy a small pony than to have the lorry repaired every month as said horse was 17.3hh and just trashed the partitions/roof and matting!

that horse was sold but toby stayed on as he is fab at his job-will make friends with anyone, travel perfectly but he doesnt mind being left alone either. he comes with us when mums horse goes out as he (mums horse) is a noisy bugger if left alone and toby loves day trips lol!

i keep meaning to do some inhand showing with him but its having the time, i think he'd do well at local level? Hose stud were going to keep him a stallion but he has a slight parrot mouth so they gelded and sold him, but if they were planning to stand him,him he must be a good example????
he is backed, but gets ridden infrequently as im far too big really, so although he copes weight wise, i tend to wobble off as im SO top heavy on him!

bryngelenponies-Toby is excited by EVERYTHING, he jog and snorts his way TO the paddock, and jogs and snorts his way back IN, and jogs and snorts ON to the lorry, and OFF.....you get the picture, everything is done at a jaunty jog with a cheerful neigh!

Aw he's such a dude....and I love the way he stands on his step looking over his door! Looking very smart and shiny!

Ha HA i remember going on comedy hack with PS riding him and I nearly fell off said 17.3hh horse because I was laughing so much at her bobbling about! I also liked the way we had to get a lead from Toby going past a white picket fence! Should have got a pic! x
