just because, some hacking videos of the boys!

He did brilliantly bless him that parcel force driver was a bit of a d*ck though in the first video, he was much better with the aa one on the second video, one of my horses is always wary of vans coming towards him a bit fast and his 12 this year, I think some of it comes down to a bit of self preservation and that is not always a bad thing,

That was seriously impressive Princess, those cars don't hang around do they! parcel force man was obviously late for a delivery and left his manners behind, when i watch vids like yours i forget the volume of traffic you have to deal with even in the countryside, i'm lucky if i see anybody, mind you if i fell off nobody would find me for days!
beautiful horse too and the pink looked fab! :):D

love it!
the music is very fitting :)
but dont worry pony i dont trust parcel force either! twice they have lost stuff on me now!

loving the pink! although i dont think i pull my pink high vis off half as well (once call a human marshmallow by the nephew wile wearing..thanks kid!)

although i have to admit i am not the best hacker, my tb can be a bit of a "looker" and my aunt-in- law (to be!) lost her horse in a RTC which has made me a little more uncomfortable about hacking although!

but levi isnt going hacking any time soon! as he currently has a corn and we have no saddle, so at best he watched the traffic from his stable window :D ... in between pulling poltices off for me!

Well I am going to go against the grain here - in defence of the Parcel Force driver he did actually come to a complete standstill for the sake of the horses. I do hope he got a big smile and thank you for his efforts.

Wow what a good young horse that was a lot of traffic and quite narrow roads. I could do with you to help me ride out my young horse you must give them such confidence.

your right he did stop after some waving to slow him down but then didn't give them a chance to pass him while he was stationary, it wouldn't have hurt him to wait a for minute to let them get past as he must have seen the horse was a little worried about it.

Yes you can't see/hear but the parcel force van was GUNNING it in 3rd gear towards us hence Goof becoming unsettled. And then shot off past us revving. I did send the footage to parcel force but they weren't interested!!!!

He is very very good lad,has been out alone once and was NO different at all......I do have to sit quiet when I first get on as he really wants to get going but then after 100 yards or so he settles down and is really confident, little lion heart.

You can see from the video that he was coming at some speed I think he was very good considering I would have slowed him down had he been coming at me like that.

We have the Accado vans wiz down our lane they have no regard for anyone or anything they have terrified the life out of one of my horses on a few occasions, I have complained to them as they use it as a cut through as none of us in the 5 houses that live along it use them they are not interested either :(

I haven't seen that much traffic for years! I would be a nervous wreck now I think. Two trucks and a school bus counts as rush hour here.

I miss riding in the UK, all those lovely little lanes, but don't miss having to be vigilant all the time and on the watch out for inconsiderate drivers, what a pretty area you have there, and such good horses, your bay is gorgeous.

It really makes me appreciate drivers here, everyone slows down, or stops altogether, one biker whizzed past me one day and the prancy pony had a fit, it was witnessed by a farmer who came up to me and said "that's my worker, I will give him a talking to" (well, that was the gist of it, but with fruitier vocabulary ;) ) - the biker, only a young lad, came to my house and apologised the next day !

Our country lanes are 30' wide and mostly dead straight. Believe it or not, THIS is a country lane, we can see anything coming for literally miles.

the scariest thing we ever see is this:

Enfys i have a friend who lives in Canada and she says the same about how narrow our roads are!

they are very good lads.......................Pea was unreliable with anything bigger than a *normal* car and it was just too nerve wracking so i gave up hacking him for about 2 years!
