WOW! what a dispute! Alot of people had alot of opinions on her posts. And I have to admit I do agree with both sides of the argument. I have to agree with R2R (I think it was) on her tips and how BSJA ignored them. But then 'something-flea' (forgot name) mentioned how shes only a teen and is still learning, about how we arnt all perfect etc. And Flea-whateveritis is also right. When I was 13, I had a pony who was strong, fast, nicked off with me, pelham mouth, but jumped anything. I used to just do 20 circles and jump the same jump over and over again, hardly no proper groundwork and I used to think i knew best. But guess what I was wrong, but I eventually learnt my lesson after some lessons from my instructor. I realised with some proper groundwork I could ride better, the horse jumped better, all those figures of 8s, serpentines, transitions etc paid off. Plus I started riding in a snaffle for groundwork and hacking. So hopefully BSJA does take the tips on board, but as Flea pointed out, we are strangers, who have also made mistakes ourselves. It can be frustrating when someone doesnt listen, but just let them get on with it, they will realise in the end.
