I got an Amazon Gift Card today - I normally spend a fortune on books, so although it was a generous amount I expected to get 2-3 books! Well here is what I bought:

"Professional Care of the Racehorse, Revised Edition: A Guide to Grooming, Feeding, and Handling the Equine Athlete"
"Against the Odds: Riding for My Life" Jerry Bailey
"Baffert: Dirt Road to the Derby"

FIVE BOOKS - VERY EXCITING!!! I hope they have lots of nice pictures!!

I have an almost secret stash of horse related books under the bed ("almost secret" in that it's such a large pile, it's starting to migrate from under the bed now into view) .

Hubby would have a fit if he could see my entire "library" and worked out the costs incurred.

I love pictures - must say, I have to thoroughly flic through a book to check if the pictures are nice and exciting before buying it.

Have fun reading them - will you tell me if they are any good?

I am actually quite good at reading (especially words with 4 or less letters), but ponies are pretty so I want pictures!! I was really impressed I was able to get so many books!! Lots of reading a head for me!
