Just been to view a horse...

Just been to view a horse with a friend. She is looking for an ID type(m/w), must be good to hack and capable for some unaff dressage. The mare was ID type, quite a nice stamp but had a large bony lump right next to her knee on the outside of her leg?? She seemed sound but apprently has only just started work again. She has done nothing and is very green although she is 8 1/2 yo. The mare was a little joggy and perhaps could be a bit nappy. I think she has decided against this one but it brought back to me the mine field that is buying a horse!!

mmmmmmmm i wouldnt be buying with bony lumps on the side of the knees!

It's possible the lump has caused problems which is why she hasn't done much. I would definitely avoid.

This is what we thought. Very well bred tho but no good if she doesn't stay sound!! Travelled a couple of hours to see her. A bit disappointed that they didn't mention it on tghe phone!!

They never do I think they must think or hope it will be a complete idiot viewing sometimes.
