As an update on my previous threads...

I ended up not going for the 15yr old, turns out he was more hotheaded than I thought. Rearing, broncing and being dragged around on the end of a lungeline put the thought of buying him to bed- so I set out again to have another look.

And I found the right one!

Never met such a level headed, down to earth and sweet animal in my life- love at first sight :) I think we will make a great team. 3yr old connie cross, very affectionate and straightforward, far beyond his age in maturity. I looooove him!

How is everyone else's horse hunting/new additions? :D
 
At the grand age of 28, I finally have a share pony :D

He's a naughty 5 year old NF. I'm in love even if he did have a temper tantrum buck when I rode him!
 
I've been looking too and have been given a good opportunity with no obligation so i'm going for it, got nowt to lose!
Ok so he's been out in a field for 4 months but i like a little project and he's young so got lots of time to grow together.
Will be strange having my own again mind! Good luck with him and let us have a peek!

ENJOY!!!! I bought my very first horse at the age of 48 after not riding for 30 years. Having great fun and although she can be a wee madam I love her to bits. We are having lessons in Dressage, Jumping and Flatwork and I have no regrets.. Enjoy! You only live once..

I hope he's not just turned three?! In which case he'll not be ready to do anything more than just being broken :eek:

I came back to say - I am not presuming you are a plonker because I know bu*ger all compared to some. I am hoping he is only just being backed or you meant to write 13 in your original post......
