If so make a call and wait for help. How do I hold my horse and try and free something else that's stuck? Could end up with two disasters instead of one!

By ride on by, I assume I am on a horse?

The voice of reason ~ good luck in trying to make me appear like a callous tart Sk..
Hold your horse ?? ever heared of tethering it to a fence/post and then helping out? remember you ride and what if you fell/got stuck and needed help? you all would be in the danger of serious injuries,or could perhaps die.By all means use mobile/call help and try your best. All have been riding long enough to know that it could happen so have a plan ready..
id try to free most of them but the only one i wouldnt leave under any circumstances is the child...id leave the others and try to contact the owners or at least find ppl to help me free them.....besides trying to free a stuck horse or dog on your own is a very good way to get yourself hurt!
Completely off-topic, but Martlin I am in love with the grey on the far right of your siggy - she's (assuming a mare?) like a (dare I say it) prettier, leggier version of my girl.
None of the above. I would ring the owner or someone else for help. By riding past I could cause the animal to panic more but what do I do with my own horse while trying to free the animal?

A boy? Really? Perhaps he's aspiring to be a transvestite...
(wow that's a lot of emoticons but really he is very very girly pretty so am very surprised)
Yes my mare is the one from the 'too big' post - you've obviously got excellent taste in horses
