Would just like some advice i.e on the day ect. ect. and does anybody know what the courses are like (BE90) ? any comments greatly appreciated (on the course both sj and xc).

Think my boy should cope fine only really doing Intro so I can qualify for PN, I think (please correct me if I'm wrong) because of my age (just turned 13) I need 2 clears xc at BE90 first before entering a BE100 ??

Thanks

Good luck first of all, try and enjoy it is the best advice I can give you. First of all, dont know what Tweseldown is like personally, but frieds who have ridden it say its a nice course. Secondly I dont think you have to qualify any more to ride at BE100, but please check with BE themselves. To give you an idea, my daughter started riding BE100s earlier on this year before she turned 14 and we have had no problem. I think you may be confusing this with going JRN, when you have to get no less than 12 SJ penalties and 3 clear cross country rounds to be able to register to do JRN.

Please bear in mind I am talking from an eventing mummy's point of view, but just relax, dont get too stressed and try and enjoy the experience. You will need to get your hats tagged at the secretary's tent first of all when you pick up your numbers (which will cost you £10.00). You cant compete without it. Also, make sure your take your passsport and vaccination certicates with you as a lot of venues do spot checks and you dont want to be not allowed to compete. Take your time walking the course and try to take someone more experienced with you if you can. Altermatively, my daughter and I do find that most people are very helpful at certain fences if you have any issue. Try and arrive with plenty of time and most importantly, DO NOT STRESS!!!

Enjoy yourself and good luck.
