I have just bought my perfect, bombproof cob who was intended to restore my confidence and teach my hubby to ride.

Anyway, circumstances beyond my control (not financial) mean I have to now sell her. I am so upset.

Sorry, pointless post. Why is life so hard sometimes.

(((((hugs))))))) life is cruel

sorry to hear that. sadly sometimes horrible things happen to the best of us.
Is there anyway you could loan her out until circumstances mean you can keep her?

Sorry if I am repeating my post, but I posted an answer to you and it seems to have disappeared! Poor you, I know how hard it is to find the right horse and it then not work out. My position is slightly different, in that I thought I had found the right one, but turns out he is a bit too much horse for me and my 2 daughters and as a result I am in the process of trying to sell him. I hope you don't mind me asking you for details of your mare, but she may be just what I am looking for. If not too painful for you, please get in touch with me. I am not sure how you do this though. Can you pm me? Caroline

Life if deals us all a bad card sometimes, sorry to hear that your having to part with your cob.

Someone out there will be a lucky person though, so long as you make sure they go to a lovely home and maybe one day you will be back in the same position. Can you not put her out loan?

Keep your chin up (((hugs)))

Is this the one you were scared to hack but then actually they were a saint? I was wondering how you were getting on with them as I am looking for a bombproof horse at the minute and they sounded like a star. Really sorry to hear you've got to sell. Life is really horrid at times!

Hi, no I bought another horse since the 'saint'. This mare is even more laid back than him. The 'saint' is a forward going TBxHanovarian who scared me at first because he was so forward, but i have found out is completely safe and brave.

Anyway, this mare that I have bought since is even more bombproof than him. She is a very very laid back lightweight cob.

Personal circumstances mean she has to go.
