Well as the title said really.... I thought my horse Shamrock was a welsh sec d x Connemara but her owner who raised her let me into a wee secret lol Shamrocks birth was a total surprise her mother was a 14 2hh steel grey Connemara and her father was s 15 3hh bay Thoughougbred lol now that I've googled pics of this breed I defo see the resemblance. She also told me her show name which is Queenies Surprise lol and she let me have a few baby pics

Was there any reason why you weren't told her true breeding before?

Her passport says Connemara but I've never thought only Connemara I thought she was crossed with a welsh d lol

If she has a Connemara Society passport then she would have been DNA tested. If she has a generic passport then it should not say Connemara as that is a breed society; what kind of passport does she have?
