Oups Just found out that I have broken the law!!

Taking my mare to the sales seems that you need to have a opperators operators license as selling the horses (goods) is seen as making a profit!! Only way around is to take her in a trailer. Live and learn. Lucky did not get pulled over but shall not be taking any more to the sales in my lorry that for sure!

Tell me about it but I rang up VOSA to double check after someone on the yard told me "you do know you are breaking the law?" Very nice chap informed me that she was right any lorry over 3.5 tons needs a operators license if selling a horses through a sales ring also you can't offer to deliver old horse to new owners with out operators license. Daft or what
