thread "have you had a range of breeds over the years?" got me thinking about my old pony. remembered years ago i had emails from the people that bought him with pictures. getting sad all over again!

called cavalier, sold in 2008 to a family with the name rae in the stirling area. long shot but again if anyone recognizes him would be nice if they shared any info. he'll be about 12 or 13 now, and probably very white

away to find some tissues for my teary eyes :(:o

Facebook is amazing for this sort of thing! i had been trying to trace a pony i broke in years ago for someone and she was sold in 2004, then sold on several times, i tried everything to find her with no luck, no one had any info... so i decided to make a facebook group all about her with very little info from the people she was first sold to i managed to find the next owner in line, they lived somewhere in spalding and owned a garden centre, i rang and emailed the garden centres until i found the right people they gave me a little bit of info on the people they sold her to, just a name and an area no address so i took to facebook and joined all the pony club pages in that area and eventually someone contacted me and gave me a phone number, i spoke to them and they had sold her to someone else in the same pony club i eventually managed to tack the current owners down and now how them on my facebook, the young girl is doing so well with her and they even offered for me to go down and see her, shes had 4 owners since 2004 when my friend first sold her, i never thought i would ever find her after 7 or 8 years but i did and it was only through facebook, its worth a try! good luck x

did the facebook thing :( only thing i ever heard was a girl saying he looked a lot like a pony her friend bought from a dealer in edinburgh but then sold on. that made me really sad, dont want to think it was my wee boy at a dealer :( x

Lovely photo's remind me so much of our very special 14.2 who was pts just over 12months ago, as a youngster she was that lovely dapple colour and as she got older was more silver but never pure grey!

She was a very special pony with a lovely nature who gave all the family lots of pleasure, great at jumping, and taught my children so much.

Hope you do manage to find something out, do keep trying.
