Just got back from Badminton...

The wind blew, the rain poured, I bought toggi tops I couldnt afford,
The grass turned from green to brown, I walked like a penguin to stop falling down,
I sat and watched horses jump a great log, I felt out of place without a wet dog,
By the waterjump, I had my dinner, and decided the name of the final winner,
Then back to my car, a black BMW, got stuck in the mud, like we always do,
Made it out safe, we had such a laugh, then straight back home, for a warm radox bath....

Brilliant poem!!

I sat on my sofa
A real lounge loafer
A mug of tea and a purring cat
A Round of Toast with marmalade too
A mug of Tea and a dash to the Loo
I watched every Horse
I rode every fence
I felt every fall
I got really tense
I shouted I wailed
I cried oh God No.

A Family bag of Maltesers and another Tea
A horse had a fall so I raced for a wee
My OH couldnt believe the noise
I moved to the floor cos my bottom was numb
I hugged a cushion and bit my thumb
My OH cleared off went outside for a walk
I havent had time to explain to him yet
That theres showjumpings tomorrow
Will I be sat here watching again
No queue for the loo
No wind and No Rain
