Just back from the vets and my horse is now retired aged 11.
So I now have another field ornament to add to the other two but I was just starting to enjoy riding again after a three year break when having my two babies.
Soo frustrated!!! I was just bringing him back into work (again!!) and thought that his hock spavin was going to need another injection however it turns out that his nerves have regrown after having a neurectomy for PSD four years ago so that's it. I'll never ride him again.
Anyone else had nerve regrowth. Vet said that they've never operated twice. Not that I would go there again anyway. Just interested.
So, where's the best place to start horse shopping?

Oh I feel for you; My pony had the operation October 2007, and although I don't have him anymore, I still keep in touch with his owners, and so far so good, fingers crossed he will stay that way, he is only very lightly hacked so whether that makes a difference?
