And my horse is having a filling in one of her teeth 2moro!!!

Anyone heard of this??? Alternative was removal of the offending tooth but various cons with that and specialist wants to preserve her tooth.

Also I was just wondering how many of your vets/equine dentists actually use a head torch to look in their horses mouth during a routine teeth rasping??? Previous fully qualified vet and dentist never did and failed to pick up on a hole in her tooth with may have been causing her sinus problems for the last 18 months?!?!?!

Will keep fingers crossed for Tigs that this sorts it!

Never heard of a horse having a filling. Fingers crossed your mare feels better soon. When Lucy has had her teeth done by different people over the last 12 years i have owned her the all used a head tourch to look inside her mouth pre and post rasping.

Yes Ive heard of this but no experience Im afraid. My boy had his tooth out under GA, it was fractured though and it took lots of aftercare to eventually come right, even a couple of years after he still got periods of awful smelly nasil discharge. Fingers crossed his filling solves the problem.
Oh and yes my vet uses a head torch when rasping or examining his teeth.
