Well i woke up this morning a little nervous to say the least as judging by India's recent behaviour I was going to be taking my life into my hands doing Frensham Sponsored ride!

She loaded well after a little persuasion and we set off! We arrived checked in and unloaded and she was looky and not really wanting to be tied up and dragging me all over the shop. Got her tacked up and then realised that as an exracer she was expecting me to be legged up at speed as she didnt really want to slow down to allow for normal mounting!! I went and robbed a mounting block from a near by rider and attempted to get on with no luck!! she was not having any of it!! I eventually did get on a very joggy, spooky and at times, reary pony! She was on her toes to say the least!! Anywho... we set off and walked and trotted with a few good spooks and bucks but after a good couple of miles, she turned into a little jumping machine!

The horse that has never really jumped before was clearing 2ft3 beautifully. She was controlled, saw a stride and popped them really comfortably.

I had the best time and I think she did too :)

I hope everyone else has had a lovely day today too xx

Hi!

Glad you enjoyed it! It was my horses first outing such a thing - she was very springy to start with all of the horses shooting past us at the start but settled down after the first canter.

I was the one who fell off at the first fence - so slight blip there - but I'm glossing over that!
Once I'd got back on we were fine and jumped all of the rest of the fences really nicely with no run-outs - so all in all I'm really pleased with her!

The fabulous weather made it all the more great!

We were there too :D Zoom was at her crazy best......it is headshaking time so she was a nut nut. She jumped AMAZINGLY though we did all the biggies and got a great photo. I did have to get off and walk the last 20 minutes or so though since she was leaping and plunging like a loon!
