Just got some bad news! Vibes please

I had a beautiful welsh d mare who I sold 8yrs ago but her new owners have always kept in touch. I have just been told that shes over the vets and things don't look good. she went lame a few weeks ago and they have now found out that the joints in her back legs are crumbling :-(
She is such a sweet and kind horse, i really hope theres something they an do!

I sold her when she was 6 so shes 14 now but thats still not old!
