just had my horse fencer stolenn

sorry having a wee rant, just noticed horses had tape down today at coner of field where i fenced of so they wouldnt get muddy, and now they are full of mud and i just thought fence battery needed charged, then noticed that fencer was stolen. oh i am raging, but just keep thinking at least it was end of winter as i have planned to move them in 2 weeks for there new grazing, so will have to fence it of with wire now as not putting down another fencer, and it was my best fencer and newest. it was well hidden.
just so mad and would love to know who it is.

What a nightmare. I used to be at a yard that had an estate nearby with a dreadful reputation. Was more bothered about some of the dodgy people who had left the yard who knew where it was hidden.
I found a security box online for energisers. But at over £200 was out of my price range. My OH made me a metal securtiy box for my energiser. It is screwed into the ground with one of those dog stakes (like a giant corkscrew) and chained to the fence as well. Locked box obviously. He does say he can make the box live as well. That could be fun

I feel for you, I have had countless energisers stolen, and one year actually all the electric tape and posts Thousands of pounds worth gone. Horrid horrible people

i've just been told my neighbour who seen a teenager in field with his yellow retriever (sp) acting strange over at fencer and hiding back and forth. so now i am on the look out, but nt sure what to do apart from go mad at him if i see him, never seen him before. neighbour didnt think much it at time as didnt know thats where i hid the fencer as people walk there dogs in my fields i rent, have done for years so less hassel to say nothing than to ask them to not to enter field, i am renting the fields 16 years so 1st time anything like this has happened, but i am so mad.
