Finally, finally i have her going how i want. she's in a different saddle (haven't ordered new jump one yet, but this is a GP Swain off ebay, my lovely bargain, and it's a miraculous improvement!) and a different bit (kimblewick lozenge, WOW what a nice bit, she was so civilised in it) even had the nerve to let her out a notch and cruise along the bridleway, crikey she's fast, and i had total control to pull up again, with no fighting. a few more times like that and i might feel confident enough to enter some flippin' events!

gosh, i hope so, it's so frustrating, i want to be out there doing stuff, but not until i know i've got some control!

yes, today reminded me of all the reasons i bought her! a few weeks ago i was seriously questioning my sanity... after we had a day sj, and i was like a frog on a rocket. thank god no-one knew me there!

going to see if i can get on next week's Bill Levett clinic now, yay! something to look forward to!
