Well...so much for wintering out!!
I have to say I believe in horses being out if atall possible.
However my mare appears to disagree with me.
By the end of last week ,having changed fields and having another (!) mix up of the horses...yards choice , not mine, she seemed really depressed and sore in the legs (mud maybe) so I found a spare stable and let her come in for a rest. I have never seen such a turn around in a horse...she is now her old self again!!! Yay!! Now back in at night over the winter and much happier. It just goes to show that whatever I might want ..these bloomin animals get the last say anyway!!
Have since heard that the others in the field were picking on her!!!....awwwww!
