My Vet wants her colleague to look at CM on Monday and then they are going to talk about how to proceed. They have both seen during her field rest over the last year, so they both know her and her history well.

:(

I think that X-rays will be the next step. Her fetlock joint doesn't feel 'smooth' (when you flex the joint) and it's hot and she tries to snatch her leg off you - which isn't like her at all. She's on anti-inflamitaries and painkillers.

That's exactly what they are thinking.

It's so frustrating - it wasn't that long ago (two months ish) that she was sound and I took her for a couple of in-hand walks with the two year old, which she really enjoyed.

Thanks - I've passed the get well wishes onto her and I've given her a big hug too. I've got to the point where I don't even care if she can never be ridden again, as long as she can have a pain free retirement.
