If,instead of a horse/pony,we all had a guinea pig instead. There'd be (virtually)no posts on this forum,we'd all be richer, cleaner, smell more fragrant, have loads of spare time, have cleaner houses,go out more, have free weekends/mornings/evenings,be less tired, have less physical ailments/aches&pains/injuries,buy nice looking shoes not wellies, not particularly care what the weather is doing/will do,not have dirt ingrained under nails/into the skin on our fingertips, wouldn't get disappointed in our performance with our guinea pig or have problems handling our guinea pig and in general,moan/wail less.
Just a thought!! ;)
But a jokey one:) This is a tongue in cheek post(before I get jumped on!) I can't remember what I did before I spent all my spare time, energy, money and love on my neddies and wouldn't change it now:)
It's a good job there's just something about all our little blighters that makes it worthwhile....

What a lovelypost - really did make me think how hard it is sometimes but SOO worth having my horse!

Not sure about the guinea pigs though - they can be little so and so's! :D

This made me laugh ....
..perfomance guinea pigs...:D

And the Sweet itch issue would be easier to manage..just pick it up and take it in the house :p:rolleyes:

Great Idea ;)
And I believe they are quite tasty too....*

*runs away before the hordes descend*

My piggies were also very demanding creatures. Perhaps a goldfish, but I like cleaning those out far less than stables.

I wouldn't bet on it. We'd still find plenty to moan about. :p

ETA ^^^^^^^ See, these two have started already. ;)

Well my sisters piggies are much much more difficult to catch than my pony :p
Although they have a bale of hay which lasts them about 6+ months, whereas pony eats about a bale and a half a week :(
My bank balance would LOVE not having a pony, good job I love her then isn't it!

Hmmm, I'd probably go horribly wrong with guinea pigs too and create little demanding diva monsters that need to see the vet every other week, and need the most expensive living accommodation and the finest food and probably need a few rugs at night to tuck them up into....

Nice idea though!

I own a Pet Shop. If only more people looked after their small animals, rabbits, guineas etc as well as that, and gave them proper excercise and made them use their minds, so many animals would lead a better life.
