Very excited, just ordered a new KanTeq body protector from my sofa where I'm sitting in pain after coming off at the weekend :D

Was a bit of a wake up call for me to see just how battered, bruised and swollen I am just from coming off in the indoor school on a good surface, that I thought it was about time I got a body protector, and wore it!

Must say that the lady at the company is an absolute delight. Called them because I'm a funny shape so the website form didn't really work for me and she was charming and so very helpful. By no means the cheapest, but they are made to measure and so many people rave about them on here I thought it was worth the investment. Got a stern talking to from my mother who pointed out that I'll happily spend £200 on a new rug for my boy (who already has more than enough rugs) so I really should be prepared to spend that on keeping me in one piece!

Very impressed, not often I get customer service worth commenting positively on these days :) Just hope the finished product is as good.

That's intersting to hear, I haven't got a body protector & I'm looking into getting one; the KanTeq is on my short list, I've heard good things about it.
Hopefully you'll never need it!

I don't have one either at the moment as had a long break from ownership and only really school and hack, but I'm so battered and bruised at the moment from a 'simple fall' that anything that could possibly help prevent that in the future is welcome in my book :)

I was unsure which to go for but given that I'm a really difficult shape and they make them to measure I thought that they were the best option as can't see myself fitting an off the peg one. She even asked questions like 'do you find tops come up either too long or too short on you' and other practical things to establish how best to adjust the fit.

I love mine too. Used to have a racesafe which I also liked a lot but love my KAN. Selling point for me was that the foam doesn't degrade over time and can cope with multiple impacts so whilst it is more expensive than other brands you don't have to replace after a fall or after 3 years.
