Just polished my jodhpur boots ....

Using pledge I couldn't find any boot polish so I used that. It seemed to work. What have you used in the past for something different than what its made for ?

i've done the kids school shoes with furniture polish before! there was a girl on my yard who used to put it on her horse's mane and tail to detangle. cant say i've tried that yet.

Pledge is good for patent shoes.

I use saddle soap on my riding boots.

Cheapo hair serum instead of mane and tail conditioner.

Speaking from experience make sure you don't get polish on the sole of the boot or the kitchen floor!

We have a tiled floor and I knew my dads GF would kill me if I got any on the floor, so I put it polished them on the 'messy mat'
