I am just putting the feelers out at the moment as I currently have a horse that I share however due to an ongoing injury I am considering (a heartbreaking decision so I'd only leave for the right horse) finding a new share/part loan.

A little about me - I'm 26, female, have been riding for 18+ years and have shared 1 horse before my current share. My main love is dressage so if I could find someone with a dressage horse for share a few times a week (I am flexible with days) that would be brilliant, but I'd also consider eventers or all-rounders as well. I compete at Novice level dressage but would love to one day progress up the levels and see where I can go with a willing friend :)

Please message me if you think you might have something suitable, ideally I'd like a yard with a floodlit menage so I can ride in winter and if the yard is hacking distance to a competition venue or you have transport that is even better :)

I sent you a phone number a while back. That horse is available again as her sharer is moving away. The horse has only done up to prelim I think but has lovely paces. The owners have transport and regularly take their other horses out doing dressage ( this one belongs to the husband who is not really interested) and we also have nice facilities at the yard including floodlit school.

Could be worth a look?

Give carthorse a PM about her horse Penfold perhaps? Although I think she may be looking for a full time loan for him.

Thanks everyone - I'm near Solihull so looking South Birmingham / Warwick area. I'd be looking for something 15.3+ (no limit as current boy is huge!).

JulesRules - she does sound lovely but my only concern is her age, after my last 2 being 14+ age is starting to work against them especially when they havent been out competing at a decent level for a few years before. With my current boy for example, he used to be shown and went hunting but not a lot of dressage, so trying to get him into a new way of life at his age appears to not be working all that well unfortunately - hence why I dont want to end up in a similar situation again.

No probs although she is only a couple of years older than Valegro ;-)

Noticed owner has just put an ad on fb saying she is suitable for Novice and intermediate. Not sure when she last worked at this level though.

Ooh just a thought, give rachaelstar on here a PM, there is a lady on her yard with two horses who she is looking for help with I think. It's not far from where you currently are, and a couple of miles from Swalf if you want to compete.
