Just spring grass? (Not for reading whilst you're eating!)

Just a quick question re poo - sorry!
We moved the boys to their summer field at the weekend and since then Hovis has been rather "loose" in his poo. Not really liquid or anything but not normal for him.
I am assuming this is just the richness of the spring grass but should I give him anything to settle his stomach?

I'm sure its just spring grass, I'd keep an eye on it but he should become a bit more 'solid' soon! Does it look very green in colour too?

Thumper's droppings (slop) looked like some by product of nuclear fusion after he'd moved fields.

It usually settles within a few days.

Boy does it stink though......

Yes, ours are the same since the grass started to grow. They reserve the real cowpats for when I put them in the trailer...

Hi - It's just your horse's response to the rich grazing, which has caused a disturbance in the bacteria within your horse's digestive tract - It should settle down itself but sometimes scouring can cause an invasion of bad bacteria within the hind gut so a good prebiotic would help.

I'm a bit relieved now as my boy's poos are a bit on the green and squishy side and I was getting a little worried. I hope it settles soon as I keep having to wash his back legs off!

My boys poos at the weekend were very wet, illuminous green and smelt like rotting eggs!!!!! Seem ok now though. Just with all this wet, hot, wet, hot weather the grass has gone mental!!!!

As everyone else says, it's pretty normal and should settle within about a week.
