....we're gaining daylight by just under 4 mins a day at the moment... which works out as an extra 24 mins by the end of this week :):D

And it won't be five more minutes before we're all moaning about moulting, the amount of grass, midges, muzzles, the heat, head shaking, hard going, sweet itch, dry hooves, what rugs? Fly rugs? No rugs? Lack of grazing.....and then.... 'will we have enough forage for next winter?'...then: it's raining! ... Going's terrible!....then mud fever, what rugs? (again)... frozen troughs and Secret Santa...

After 4 decades of doing this, I think I must qualify for medical help of some sort....:D

Mine's covering me in hair at the moment and I've never been happier :) I'm never going to moan about flies, dry ground, lack of grass, ever ever again :D

Cant wait I have never been too warm/hot in my life I hate being cold I even loved it in the desert at 50 degrees C while everyone else wilted I reveled in it

Can't wait !!
Although this year I must wait til at least 7pm before hacking, I get so impatient and set off too early and there's flies / people/ too hot :) my best hack all year was when I set off at just gone 7 :)

Am looking forward to waking with the dawn chorus and hacking out by 7am to miss the loonies and the heat...

(It helps that I have a Bengal cat who is brilliant/a PITA for deciding when breakfast should be served - ie when the sun rises and the birdies start singing)

YAY can't wait until daylight saving
that's when life begins again

and this crap is over:p

Hate to be the bearer of sad tidings, but, it's more like 2 minutes a day. When I read your post I thought the extra 24 minutes by the end of the week was too good to be true. Sorry.

I am experiencing sub tropical temperatures but that could be due to a catatonic moggy on my lap coinciding with hot flushes.
What worries me is that if the moggy is this hot in the summer and my flushes are this bad there may be spontaneous combustion.

I have effective sun cream, a good muzzle, a fab fly rug and a patient but nesh pony. I can't wait for summer and promise not to moan!

It depends where you are in the country how much daylight we gain each day. Here in the midlands its about 2-3 mins a day. That's about 20 mins a week!I'm another one who promises never to moan about the ground being too hard/too hot ever ever ever ever again!
