been out on a lovely ride out on my beautiful cob this afternoon .. he was unflinching at a bunch of birthday balloons tied to a gate, a terrier trying to kill a chicken and a large garden plant covered in plastic flapping in the wind. He is just about the most wonderful horse in the world, and I am so lucky ....

ain't that the truth Tessybear, he was just so good! My confidence is soaring ... going to our first fun ride in a couple of weeks, and I cannot wait!!!

I wish my cob behaved today!

We had: Spooking at his reflection in a car window. Spooking at the bicycle outside the shop because it had a blue bag in the basket and finally, for some unknown reason, a big spook and buck at nothing in the middle of the road - luckily nothing was coming!

He is 23!!!!!!

LOL!! sorry shouldn't laugh ... 23 going on 3 by the sound of it! and they say that cobs are unflappable!!!

I know! You'd think at 23 he would know better, probably the spring grass giving him a bit more oomph! I can't be cross with him though! He does make me laugh.
