after a good few years oh hitching rides with others and hiring transport I finally got into the position where I could get a 3.5 ton! excellent!
But when the people we bought it from dropped it at the yard it had a slow puncture= new tyre purchased and the battery wasnt working, they admitted it hadnt been run properly and therefore lost charge...fair enough they were great in that they brought a new battery down and sorted it for me.
The next weekend I had horse ready for a day out, got there that morning and the box wouldnt start! Turned the key and silence! Had to call everyone to cancel my space and apologise for a no show. Rang the people we bought it from as we were now into the second week of us owning it and it was unusable, despite being "good to go" and it wasnt a cheap buy either. Starter motor was knackered, so begrudgingly they came (after ignoring MANY phonecalls) and sorted it after a fair short words that we hadnt got what we paid for.
so, they took the box and fixed it up (great!) but they werent there when we picked it up and when we started down the road...no speedo! for the life of me I am no mechanic so I hadnt a clue of how to fix it myself.
The company we bought it from are terrible when it comes to customer service, fair enough the starter motor was fixed and a battery replaced, but their attitude was horrendous considering how much I paid! The speedo wasnt fixed because the company said it was more hassle for them and basically couldnt be a****. What a joke!
Sorry for the rant. I wont say who they were on here, but the box itself is great (when it works) and was fine when we went to go see it and it has all its checks MOT service etc but dont expect good customer service!
