something nice happens
I have had a terrible month .I won't go into details but it has been REALLY bad.
I felt really sad that my livery ,who has been with us for 6 years, had left. Her horse became very ill on Christmas eve and had to be operated on ,he has just come home but she has taken him to another friend where he can be checked last thing at night and they have electric and he is by himself so will not get upset by others being turned out.
When they came to tell me I wouldn't accept any money for livery as they have a bill for about £3000 coming. As they took their stuff I said 'I am going to miss that shavings fork and wheelbarrow' and laughed as I am always pinching their tools.
Yesterday I bought a shavings fork as my horse is now on shavings as I can't get enough newspapers to shred for them all.Today a new wheelbarrow and shavings fork appeared with flowers and chocolates.......I could cry ,why are people so nice....even when they are going to really struggle to pay their vet bill.

What a sweet thing to do

So am I but I am desperate to replace them as they put mine away occasionally ,when we were at shows or all on late shift.Have January sorted but then will have major problems putting them to bed .I only have one livery, they were 100% reliable and I am going to miss them terribly

Aaaw - that is so thoughtful. How often is it that the most generous people are those who really can't afford to be?

Thats because what goes around comes around and you are nice people who give what you have when you dont always have it for yourself .
i am sure that they will be very sorry not to be with you and have only made the decision due to these unfortunate problems.
Lx

They have obviously given you that kind present as thanks for all your kind generosity you have given them in the past.

I am sure you will find a suitable replacement, especially as your person who has just left obviously thought of you and your yard very highly

Yes she may come back but he has to be fully stabled for 3 months and it would add to his stress if his friends are turned out and we have no electric and she has to go to him before and after work and wants him checked last thing.I don't blame her at all and I am really chuffed by the present but I can't wait 3 months to see if she wants to come back. I need a bit of help as soon as poss.
The friend she has gone to has a stable and paddock and a few sheep
