I have done some research myself but all I have found is one association who does very little in my area (Somerset/Glos/Wilts) and is very expensive!!!

I mean it looks quite fun, a bit out of my comfort zone (looks like dog agility on Crufts!!!!), but could be good for a young 'un... I would love to try and have go.

I mean, I have heard of it but first I've looked into it properly. I would really like to know more and learn of local gatherings :)

I was in the same position........ not much of vanessas agility intructors around our way .. and its expensive ( imo)

soooooo we set up our own little group and have built a course in my smaller winter field .... most of it can be taken down but there are some obstacles that stay up like the bridge and see saw

beware , lots pics ;)

That is brilliant tazzle!

Wow, you even got pony going though the tunnel! Well, what can I say... I'm inspired. I do have use of a fair sized paddock and allsorts to turn into "obstacles" and old fencing to be used.

Come spring I may just be posting a vid of me and the youngster! :)

Thanks so much for sharing - they are brilliant pics :) xxx

thank you :D

it is great fun ..... you can utilise a lot of things around the yard and use them in different ways. Even just approaching them differently ....... like getting horse to be able to halt just after a jump ( I had done this before with Taz but it was a necessity for working with Matt as he does not alway let go the rope when needed )

I look forward to future vids Tally ho ho ho :D :D :D :D

It is great fun and I think it challenges a horses brain and I think that they do learn to learn and that it can be something they actually want to do

forgot to say .. we did go along to one of vanessas demos .... and ended up being the demo lol

I do have vid somewhere of it. loooooooads bunting, wavy streamers...... going through a trailer "wrong way" ....... doing changes of pace and horse staying with you ... flag work etc. oh and "s" bend.
