When riding schools were able to do riding lessons and help with the RDA and a visiting pony club or a showjumping trainer or dressage or a showing judge

does the riding school still exist or has it shut down

do you remember competing there or do pony club at all how many badges or rosettes did you get

any photos are you still involved with any one from either side

I think you will find there is a big problem with insurance. RDA is now very specialist, groups are run under very strict regulations.

The riding school I went to used to do RDA on a Thursday, from what I recall.

It was an old fashioned nose to tail, throughout the day, working school on the weekend. Mondays off.

In the holidays they did pony days and little shows, You hired the horse by the class. Mainly gymkhana and clear round |SJ, but in the bigger shows in summer also best turned out and fancy dress. The bigger shows in summer, when they could use the fields, also had outsiders on their own horses.

It closed many years ago, sadly.
