I was just scrolling through DD and there is an ad for a shire foal which says he is a NB colt,just wondering what NB means?

To be honest the first thing I thought was no balls?

If it's the colt called Blueberry, the sentence reads "Blueberry is NB colt, so his future is in ride or drive. " making me think that he is unbroken (as he should be at that age) and therefore his direction in life is not decided.

He is in the non breeding register, not able to be used as a Shire stallion. Maybe just one registered parent. His future will be "no balls" ?
