JW Headcollar - size help

Does anyone own the fleecy John Whitaker headcollar, think it's the waffle one.

My daughter wants one for Xmas but her pony is only 12.2 and the smallest it comes in is cob so I'm think it will be too big, the pony hasn't got a particulary little head, normal pony size headcollars fit her well. Anyone know if these adjust so they will fit a smaller head???

No experience of the smaller sizes but my mare has one in full and it fits her and every other headcollar she's had has had to be x-full. So I'd say more than likely would come up big.
