Hellooo!

I have just bought my NF a new (ish!) JW pressure girth, however it has now just dawned on me that fitting a martingale will be a tad more tricky than before!

I am being a total numpty but does anyone know how I go about getting a martingale to go on with these girths??

It has a D ring and spring clip in the centre/on the widest part so is there a specific martingale part I need or any other helpful suggestions as I is being thick?!?!?

Thanking you!

I would assume that instead of sliding the girth piece over the girth you would clip it onto the big clip instead? when the girth is done up? just a guess as i havent got one, just looked at a google image of it lol :)

I'm going to hope I don't need one - else I may be shopping for a clip on martingale me finks!!!

It seemed a good idea at the time to buy one at the time!!!

You need one of these - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/clip-clip...t=UK_Horse_Wear_Equipment&hash=item3ccbce2184

Then take your original martingale to your local saddler or cobbler and ask them to insert it in the martingale end - my local cobbler charges me £5 each.

You just need to make sure that there is adjustment to make it smaller once it is put on as it obviously makes it a little longer.

Makes it loads easier to tack up too.

Ah - that looks much more like it - thank you!
