So buoyed by his successful caterpillar hunt (an unharmed Elephant Hawk Moth caterpillar - so not a diddy one), Kasper once again braved the flower bed in search of prey. I was alerted to this fact by really loud shrieks of 'EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!'

So what do you think he had found this time?

Bingo! :D

It was a huge frog and he was patting it gently on the back to make it jump and the froggy was screaming. I've never heard anything like it. I took the wicked kitty inside for a little bit and the frog had hopped off by the time I let him out again.

Lord knows what he'll find next?

Frogs scream? And play dead? Holy s***, this has made my fear of them ten million times worse! If my cat ever brought a frog in I would literally lock myself in the bathroom and scream out the window for help lol

So Kasper has been hunting again. :) Yesterday evening he had a very small grasshopper.

They're pretty hard to catch, so I'm quite impressed. Apart from being a bit soggy, the grasshopper was fine. I guess they don't taste very nice. ;)

Yep! Frogs can scream quite loudly... One of ours used to bring them up to our bedroom in the night and keep patting them. It's an interesting way to wake up and you have to be careful not to tread on the frog as you leap out of bed to rescue the poor thing. (She grew out of by 7 years old...)

Do keep us posted about what Kasper finds next!

I have a pond and we have a frog and sometimes it decides to hop on to the garden and my mogs terrorise it, makes a right din and I have to get it back in the pond!

My big hairy cat Eric has been up to his murdering antics this week and brought in two doves, one of which was still alive! He was very pleased to bring me these pressies, just when I thought he could not be bothered anymore. Delightful!
