Horse and his companion sheep were standing under the tree looking like staples, backs haunched and feet close together! Both in the barn now and cosy. Wind blowing a hooley and worse to come. Bring it on Katia but please leave my roofs intact.

Ah Lionman, your horse and sheep are wimps!! Mine are staying out tonight (although that's actually because I'm more worried about the rooves coming down on them than anything!)
What's it like up there? It's been windy here all afternoon, but not reached it's full strength yet I don't think....

HH, the wind we have at the moment has nothing to do with Katia, that is to come tomorrow! My roof is 400yrs old! I bet we are going to be in touch tomorrow when the full force hits. Yes my TB IS a softie!!!

We live on the South Coast and there is nothing to break the wind at the back of the house...very exposed.

It is howling down here, worst I've known it in the 15 years I've lived here, hope the roof stays on :D

2 mahoosive trees down (firewood on top of the tree that fell last winter) is now sorted for the next 5 years.....!

BUT.....knacked fencing and OH will be attacking the tree with the chainsaw tomorrow so he can repair it.

Horses OK, which is the main thing.

:D
