I know that Katie Price has been alot in the H&H and the press recently but I was just wondering if she had competed in affilated dressage and also more info on the horses that she owns. I was just being nosey on a Friday afternoon whilst I was daydreaming!

Who cares. Yawn.

Can you tell i'm not a fan

I am a member of BD and searched her under curiosity...I dont think she is on there, but who cares really, plenty of owners dont/cant ride, and so long as she is pumping tens of thousands into great riders like Andrew Gould...who IMHO have a REAL chance of getting to the Olympics....who cares?

I dunno I bet she only does things if there's something in it for her. Im really not a fan but I like the comment above
"so long as she is pumping tens of thousands into great riders like Andrew Gould...who IMHO have a REAL chance of getting to the Olympics....who cares? "

So she is abit green,,everyone on here start at psg level did they,,you have got to start somewhere and she is having lessons and trying to better her riding. It is clear she adores her horses and gave the horse a bit pat on the neck after the test where as some people dont even aknowledge their horses after a test or xc course. So she has money and drives a pink lorry so what..At least she dosent pretend to be something she is not and tell everyone she is a top flyte dressage rider.Christ give the girl a break.

Don't get wrong, I'm not suggesting she can't ride, I do think she can. I just expected something more from someone who at one stage was having 2 professional dressage lessons on professional dressage horses a day. In no way was it meant to be suggested i think i'm better. I actually applaud her for bringing attention to the sport, have to say i think its downright mean to have a clothing range aimed at young women/girls and refuse to do a signing unless they buy something. It gives off an impression of "I'll show you appreciation as a fan but only if you part with some hard earned cash!"

p.s. I always pat a horse when i finish riding, whether is school or a comp.

although I can't say as i think shes that good

She may not be upto many people standard but she is trying..She wants to go to the 2012 Olympics good on her if she makes it.Whats wrong with ambition?.If she does make it it will be through hard work and determination as nobody can buy their place on the Olympic dressage squad.

she used to show jump to a reasonable level. she has the money, excellent business brain and marketing services. she can afford to buy excellent horses and trainers so no reason for her not to succeed. i personally would like to be so slim and have her bank balance!! the little green monster is an evil thing!

I have to agree with Rema.
I actually quite like her *puts on tin hat*. If she wants to spend money on super horses why shouldnt she? Is it not her money to spend as she likes?
Her horses are well looked after and she is having regular lessons. Its not as if shes buying super special horses and keeping them at her own yard with no help or instruction.

Its only because shes well known that all this controvercy is happening. If it was me spending all that money no one would be in the slightest bit bothered.

There are enough top horses being sold abroad so why not think positively, KP is bringing these horses back into the country which can only be a good thing.

Give her a break.
