Daughter's birthday is coming up. A couple of her friends have KP rugs/headcollars/saddlecloths for their ponies, and DD would like the same.

How is the quality? How do the rugs fit? DD's current pony is a chunky 14.1 cob type.

I think they're nice and gimmicky for little girlies, and if mates have them, they all want them, but quality is poor for the price, tbh.
 
I've only ever seen the pink fleece cooler used (just to add not on my girls, i'm farrr to old for katie price pink- and it's too expensive! lol) which was ok, i tend to be of the thought that a fleece rug's a fleece rug really. The only thing i wouldnt have liked is that i dont think it had surcingles on, just chest straps & a fillet string? Quality was ok, was only ever used in stable & travelling occasionally so dont know how it would stand up to heavy wear. It was brought for a 6'6 TB mare and came up very small though. Could have easily done with a 6'9 and this mare never had a 6'9 in anything, so i'd go a size up if you buy rugs, especially for a chunky cob.

I'd look on e-bay as well as derby house though, selling my KP fleece on there and have seen lots of other stuff much cheaper than in catalogue.
 
Thanks! Not sure at this point that I'll buy the KP stuff- may go with some of the pretty girly stuff from Robinsons. It was what I expected to hear actually.

What about the Cuddly Ponies range from Weatherbeeta, bright girly colours. Try the Equestrian Clearance website.

Have only seen KPs stuff on a display stand but I didn't like the quality, sorry no experience of how her stuff wears.
