Got to change from horse-insurance.co.uk as they are E&L! KBIS has given me the best quote but are they any good? Good/bad reviews? Thanks

Yes, would def recommend, they are super, I sadly had to claim for a lovely horse who was eventually PTS due to an injury he had before I bought him, they handled the claim brilliantly and were very supportive. Would still be with them but can't insure my tack because of our rubbish tack room lock !

Ah fab! They've given me a really good quote for the basics, which is all I need really as he's only a baby and no riding involved. I'm thinking of getting the BHS gold membership and that will cover the public liability insurance so all good. Thanks!

Very good only had the one claim when lost a horse to grass sickness paid up straight away. Would not use another company very helpful.

My horse has been insured with them for 6 years, although I havent had many claims, just one which they paid out £40.00 for. As the excess was £150, I think roughly. So my bill wasnt that much. But the illness was excluded, (sarcoids), from my next renewal, but I believe they all do that.

Excellent and paid up fast on both the horses I had with them, BUT I swapped from them this year as the exclusion they wanted to put on my horse was utterly ridiculous (and none of the others wanted to add such a hige blanket exclusion). So they lost my business and I went with AmTrust, who were also significantly cheaper.

Same here. They wanted to exclude two legs and the entire wind of an 8 year old mare I had never claimed on and had never been lame. Still has never been lame and hunts twice a week all season. All due to comments on a vet's certificate. No point in insuring really.
